Entrepreneurship Award

The tradition of the oldest entrepreneurship competition in Estonia continues – this year for the 31st time!

We acknowledge and honor innovative and forward-thinking Estonian businesses whose determination and dedication have contributed to the success of their companies, employees, and our country.

You are invited to apply for the competition so that the efforts and achievements of your company’s employees can receive the highest national recognition and serve as an inspiration to others!

Application and Recommendation for the Competition

There are two ways for a company to enter the competition:

  • The company fills out the application form and participates in the competition.
  • A business partner, client, industry association, local government, or anyone who recognizes the company’s achievements submits a recommendation form. The category manager at Enterprise Estonia will contact the company to inform them about the recommendation. If the company chooses to proceed, it must confirm its participation by submitting the application form.

By participating in the competition, you can highlight your financial performance as well as the broader impact of your activities and achievements. We strongly recommend reviewing the competition statutes beforehand to choose the most suitable category for the company’s activities and accomplishments.

Applications may be submitted in multiple categories; participation is also open to those who have applied in previous years.

The categories for the 2026 competition will be announced on May 25.

Benefits of Participating

Participating in the competition allows your company to showcase its achievements and increase visibility.

Achieving top rankings in the competition has helped companies acknowledge their employees, build credibility with (international) partners, strengthen business relationships, enhance their employer brand, and gain positive media coverage.

Being among the TOP 3 in a category comes with a broader marketing and media campaign. Companies will also receive marketing materials in Estonian and English, which they can use to highlight their success and build trust among partners and clients.

Application Timeline

Participating companies are evaluated by broad-based juries at several stages. The TOP 3 companies in each category are selected and announced in mid‑October. The category winners are then chosen by a final jury and revealed in early November.

Selecting the Company of the Year

In addition to the Entrepreneurship Award competition, the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Competitiveness Ranking competition and the Supporter of National Defence recognition initiated by the Ministry of Defence are held in parallel.

The Company of the Year is selected from the seven category winners of the Entrepreneurship Award competition, the three winners of the Competitiveness Ranking, and the recipient of the “Supporter of National Defence” recognition.

The category winners will be awarded, and the winner of the “Company of the Year 2026” title will be announced at the “Estonia´s Best Companies” awards gala on 14st of November. All category nominees will be invited to the event, which will also be broadcasted on television.
